 		I began my business a LONG time ago, with the Lunar Phase Card and a line of greeting cards. In 1984 I expanded to printing on t-shirts.

Now I have a second business: "Pathway to English". I am busy tutoring ESL, but I hate to give up my t-shirt biz; this is why I offer t-shirts from "The Mountain". I knew they were great when I found myself buying them!

I started my internet sales in 1996 with snakeandsnake.com. It has been a lifesaver to my business, and a wonderful adventure, learning how to design websites. 

In my *free* time, I volunteer with the Democratic Party.

Q. So why do you call yourself
Snake and Snake Productions?

A. I made my logo of two snakes 30 years ago when my initials were S.S. As I grew more interested in Goddess imagery I was delighted to see Cretan priestesses wielding double snakes. In fact, snakes were sacred in many Goddess cultures. So the name has double meaning!

     When you purchase from Snake and Snake, your money supports several small businesses besides my own, and several creative women. Pleiades Jewelry is created by Lizi Brown, an artist in Massachusetts. Wellstone Jewelry is made by a family in California. The harp CD is made by Jessica Gill, in Massachusetts . The Goddess Grace video is made by Mariel, founder of HAWAP (Hard-Assed Women Against Patriarchy) in Durham, NC.
The Mountain does all their dyeing and printing in New Hampshire.

About The Tees:

     I'm now using tees which are made in the USA for all my tie-dye designs, and for black t-shirts. I'm happy to have found the Cal Cru company right here in North Carolina. They sew good quality tees, maintain good worker conditions, and even use American grown cotton. Because they don't offer many colors and styles, I still buy other brands.
     All my tees are machine washable and dryer safe for easy care. Use warm or cold water, no bleach, and medium heat dryer for best results. The Cal Cru tees run true to size and preshrink when I dye them, so buy your normal size. Here is a Size Chart.
